Ah yes, it is officially that time of year: Fall. With the many wonderful feelings associated with this time of year, my favorite has to be the feeling of coziness that the season brings. It's finally the time where I can spend my evenings, bundled up in a blanket, with a nice hot drink, watching my favorite seasonal movies. It's that time of year when everybody suddenly becomes a homebody. We have no more excuse to be outside because it's too cold to be outside. We can fully embrace our inner introvert.
When I have those snuggly evenings, one of my must haves is a cup of tea. Before it was too hot to enjoy more than one cup a day, but now I can embrace my inner tea lover to its full extent. Today, I want to share with you guys my top three teas that I sip on the regular and maybe even hear about your favorites. And if you're not a tea drinker but want to be, maybe this will give you a good place to start.
When I think tea, this is the first thing I think of. Every morning I love to wake up with a cup of Twinings English Breakfast Tea with a splash of milk. Although this tea is strong when it comes to caffein, I drink it for the taste. There is something extremely comforting about this tea that calms me to the core. I know all is well when I have a cup of this tea in my hands. If you like sweet tea, this is pretty much the same thing, minus the sugar of course. But you won't want to add sugar to this: It is just that good. If you don't like things that are caffeinated, they even sell this decaffeinated. But whats the fun in that?
Want something a bit lighter? Then the Youthberry Wild Orange Blossom Tea from Teavana is just for you. I typically will have a cup of this herbal blend in the afternoon after a long day in classes. This tea has just the right amount of citrus, berries, and a light floral undertone to make you smile. For this time of year, this tea is definitely for the people who are not yet ready to let go of summer but are exited for fall. Plus this smells like absolute heaven. If you ever want a good time, just go to your local Teavana and smell every single tea you can. You will die and come back from the beautiful mix of scents these guys make.
Last but definitely not least, we have a tea that is for those restless nights. Sometimes I need a little help to sleep soundly and Dozy Girl from Bluebird Tea Co. is there to help. With calming ingredients like chamomile, lavender, lemon verbena, hibiscus, and rose petals, this tea will become your best friend. I typically drink this an hour or so before bed when I know I haven't been sleeping well. The only drawback from purchasing from this company is they are based out of England and are only available online for those of us here in US. On the plus side, they have plenty of products with other fun names. You will not be disappointed in making a purchase from them.
Whats your favorite tea this time of year? Not a fan of tea, favorite coffee then? And if you don't drink either well... Anyway, I hope you guys kick off this season with your favorite things! Got anything to recommend? Comment down below or on the most recent Swim Szn Instagram post! We would love to hear from you guys.
But for now, I am off to have a cozy evening with a cup of tea.
